After all, it’s been, like, three weeks since the Borgata Spring Poker Open ended and people have been getting a little antsy.

Ok, seriously, the Borgata Hotel Casino & Spa offers more poker action than any casino on the East Coast including five, count ‘em, five seasonal opens like the Borgata Summer Poker Open.

The summer open offers up 19 main events including a combined $1.1 million in guaranteed prize pools over its 18-day run.

The opening event—always the biggest field, so online reservations are recommended—is a $300,000 guaranteed, $350 + $50 Deep Stack No Limit Tournament that kicks off June 10. The tournament has three opening sessions with one on June 10 at 11am and two on June 11 at 10am and 8pm respectively.

The Borgata Summer Open Championship begins June 21 with the first of two opening sessions (one each June 21 and June 22). The $500,000 guaranteed, $2,000 + $200 No Limit Hold’em tournament runs through Wednesday, June 25.

But that’s not all by a long shot. Event 5 and Event 10 carry $100,000 guarantees and Event 6 carries a $200,000 prize pool guarantee.

Also on the schedule is Event 7, a $260 + $40 Ladies Deep Stack Tournament and Event 8, a $300 + $40 Seniors Tournament.

Online reservations run until Friday, June 6 at 4pm.

On-Site registration in the Borgata Poker Room then kicks in on Monday, June 9 from 4pm to midnight and then runs 8am to midnight daily June 10 to June 23. For the final three days of the open, on-site registration runs from 9am to 9pm, June 24 to June 27.

It has just been a few weeks since the Borgata Spring Poker Open wrapped up and now poker players in the east coast are about to be treated to the next tournament series over the summer by the same organizer. If you have been following Borgata’s events, then you will certainly be familiar with the Borgata Summer Poker Open – this is the third of the flagship live series held at the Borgata Hotel Casino & Spa every year.

Set to officially return on July 9, the Borgata Summer Poker Open will run for a little over two weeks and in that period, the participating poker players will be treated to some of the most exciting games in addition to being given the opportunity to compete to win life-changing amounts of money.

As it stands, the official schedule for the high-profile poker event has not been released but a few details have leaked. The poker series will reportedly kick off with the traditional $600 buy-in Open event on July 9 – this will have a guaranteed $500,000 guarantee and will run for a total of five days with three days of starting flights.

The most notable highlight of the Borgata Summer Poker Open is expected to be the Championship event which will go down as from July 21 to July 26 and will feature two days of Day 1 starting flights. Just like the previous Borgata tournament series, the Championship event is set to feature a $1 million guaranteed prize pool and a buy-in of $2,700.

To get in, poker players will have a shot at entry tickets through online qualifiers and satellites that will run on BorgataPoker.com as from June 23 to July 21. The players will be able to qualify for the events for as low as $5 in that period.

Action-Packed May and June

The Borgata Summer Poker Open is two months away but you should not worry about having nothing to do as you wait – the casino has recently announced a good number of live tournament series and promotions for its customers. Its Sit & Go (SNG) leaderboard promotion, for instance, has been extended to run all through the month of May and a better part of June with each week featuring two separate leaderboards exclusive to SNG players. These players will have a shot at walking away with a share of the $2,000 prize that is on offer.

The Sit & Go leadership promotion aside, Borgata Casino will also be hosting three value-added tournament series this month. DeepStacks Challenge Series will be the first and it will run between May 13 and May 17 – it will also guarantee a total of $100,000 over five events. Next will be the Saturdays Series which will be a single day event that will feature a $100,000 guaranteed prize pools for and a buy-in of $400. The third will be the $250,000 guaranteed Summer Kick-Off Series that will run from May 25 to May 28 – this one will feature four starting flights with $300 buy-ins.
